Hayley has already enjoyed success after featuring in two world tours for Riverdance (lead singer) and Lord of The Dance (as Erin the Goddess), but 2010 saw the launch of her recording career. Griffiths writes her own material, and whilst there is some celtic influence (especially in the production and vocal interpretation) her sound has a more modern age ring to it. Griffiths sits on the pop side of crossover, with only her pure soprano to hint at anything classical. Her vocal layering and Riverdance-esque production would make her appealing to Celtic Woman fans. Despite the lack of a major record label, Griffiths image and sound are as slick and polished as they can be, and better still she is free to express herself and explore her own sound, which is vital for a genre that is so often set to its tried and tested formula. Her album Silver Screen, won the Classical Crossover Album of the year 2010.
